In conjunction with the Campbell Collaboration at Queen's University Belfast, the Alliance for Useful Evidence will be holding an event looking at the challenges of using evidence to develop policy and inform practice.
We will hear from the UK What Works Network as it celebrates its five year anniversary, and from Sense about Science, which has recently released the results of a spot check on the transparency of evidence use in policy in Westminster.
We will also be asking participants where they see the need for more evidence to help them make choices and decisions, and sharing ideas on how to overcome some of the challenges of using evidence effectively when time and resources are limited.
