John Davies is a research fellow at Nesta focusing on the digital and creative economy. He is currently thinking about the effects of clusters of high-tech companies and the use of social media to assess networking events. Prior to Nesta, he worked as English Heritage’s economist and led its Social and Economic research team. He also worked for a leading economic consultancy and as a civil servant in a number of Government departments.
