This event convened leaders and influencers from major practitioner, policy and professional bodies with an interest in the adoption and use of high-quality evidence across their organisations and sectors. Speakers included Richard Whetton, Police Scotland; Sally Thomas, Scottish Federation of Housing Associations; Theresa Fyffe, Director RCN Scotland;Jim Thewliss, School Leaders Scotland; and Susan Taylor, President of Social Work Scotland.
Attendees shared current experience of the benefits, incentives and structures for applying appropriate evidence in everyday practice.

The event was run in partnership between the Alliance and Iriss. Iriss currently is leading the production of an Evidence Statement for social services, as a part of the Scottish Social Services Strategy.
