Representatives from small and medium-sized charities in the North East discussed the difficulties they face in engaging with research and evaluation. Following short talks from Sarah Mistry, the Big Lottery Fund; Dave Pritchard, NPC; and Peter Alcock, TSRC, break-out sessions were held to look at possible solutions for overcoming these.

Representatives from the Big Lottery Fund, who hosted the event, discussed with attendees potential mechanisms for taking these solutions forward.
