Evidence Masterclass for Health and Social Services professionals in Scotland
Tuesday 24th of January 2017 COSLA, 19 Haymarket Yards, Edinburgh, EH12 5BH, Scotland 10:00am - 4:00pm
What is the Using Evidence for Integration Masterclass?
The masterclass will provide an opportunity for health and social care professionals to discuss and increase their knowledge around the use of evidence to improve the efficiency and integrity of services.
The masterclass will deepen your understanding of research evidence, what is good evidence, how to interpret it and where to find it. In the second half of the session you will work with a group of peers on a real issue around which difficult decisions need to be made. You’ll be set a challenge that requires you to ask questions and consider multiple sources and types of evidence and deliberate over the best course of action.
We aim to provide an interactive learning experience, and we will be sending you a short pre-course survey and asking you to come with an example of where you have used evidence in the development or implementation of health and social care integration.
Please note that this is an invite-only event.
