Developing and Delivering Interventions that Tackle Harmful Drinking
Tuesday 26th of May 2015 Webinar Recording 3:00pm - 4:00pm
The Evidence Exchange programme hosted a webinar for front-line staff delivering alcohol brief interventions (ABIs) across the UK to share experience, evidence and practice.
The webinar highlighted the evidence base for ABIs; where and how they are being delivered outside of primary health care; and lessons for practitioners from research and practice in this area.
The webinar was opened by Tom Damsell of the "Have A Word" campaign in Wales, and included participants working in a variety of organisations and setting across the UK.
Have A Word is a joint initiative between Public Health Wales, Cardiff University and the Welsh Government, designed to support people working outside of health settings to deliver ABIs.
